If you have any additional questions or concerns, please feel free to contact us and we will be happy to answer them.

What is Direct Primary Care (DPC)?

DPC is a membership-based healthcare model where you pay a flat monthly fee for unlimited access to your primary care doctor. It includes visits, consultations, and many in-office services, without the hassle of insurance or co-pays.

How is DPC different from traditional primary care?

In DPC, we don’t bill insurance, so there are no co-pays or deductibles. This allows for longer appointments, same-day or next-day availability, and more personalized care.

What does the membership fee cover?

The fee covers unlimited office visits, management of acute and chronic conditions, wellness exams, preventative care, basic in-office tests, and direct communication with your doctor, even after hours.

Do I still need insurance?

Yes, it’s recommended to have insurance for hospitalizations, specialist care, or medications not included in the DPC plan. Think of DPC as a supplement to your insurance, not a replacement.

What services are included in your DPC practice?

Our internal medicine DPC membership includes:

• Management of chronic conditions like diabetes, high blood pressure, obesity, and heart disease

• Acute care for illnesses like the flu, colds, or infections

• Wellness and preventative care, including annual physicals

• Mental health support for anxiety and depression

• Nutrition and exercise counseling

• In-office testing like rapid strep, flu, and COVID-19 tests, urine analysis, and pregnancy testing

• Affordable lab services and discounted imaging (X-ray, CT, MRI, and more)

• Referrals to specialists when needed

How much does membership cost?

Membership fees vary but typically range from $50 to $100 per month, depending on your age and specific needs.

Can I contact my doctor outside of office hours?

Yes, you’ll have direct access to your doctor via phone, text, or email, even after hours.

Are labs, medications, and imaging included?

We offer discounted in-house or partnered labs, discounted imaging, and savings on common medications. Services may have an additional cost but at significantly lower rates than traditional practices.

Can my whole family join?

Our focus is on adult medicine (age 18+), but we can coordinate care for families by working closely with pediatricians or other specialists as needed.

Is there a limit to how many visits I can schedule?

No, your membership includes unlimited visits. Whether you need a quick question answered or a thorough evaluation, you’re welcome anytime.
